If you’re someone who gets a kick out of visiting “haunted” places or you’re interested in doing something a little different this weekend why not book a ghost weekend away in Parys.
South Africa’s Mystery Ghost Bus is hosting a mystical getaway in Parys, one of the country’s most haunted “little towns” from the 24th to the 26th of May 2019.
Guests will be accommodated right on the Vaal River at the 4 star Stonehenge in Africa with its mystical standing stones. Mark Rose-Christie South Africa’s expert paranormalist & illusionist will be your guide for the weekend.
Itinerary
Friday 24 May: Arrival starts from 2pm or by at least 7pm for those coming from afar. The night will kick off with full barbecue followed by classic South African country ghost stories around the fire with some chilling visual effects in the night background. The evening will ends early enough for more drinks, magical star-gazing along the river, or whatever you wish.
Saturday 25 May: Friday night guests will be treated to a full breakfast followed by a free day where guests can either rest up at the resort on the river or spend the day in Parys with its arts, crafts & antique shops, plus many attractions, activities, tours & wildlife centres.
The evening’s ghostly activities start with a sumptuous 3-course dinner, followed by a spooktacular Haunted Car Jaunt of Parys. The trip will see guests going on a ghost tour in a car convoy, with ‘in and out’ car stops. The route can be accessed in the Mystery Ghost Bus website.
Sunday 26 May: The final day of the ghost weekend away kicks off with a full Breakfast and because there is still so much to do and see in and around Parys there is no need to rush home.
