The Grande Provence Harvest Festival 2020

Date:

The Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek will once again open its doors to visitors seeking to celebrate the 2020 grape harvest.

This year’s Grande Provence Harvest Festival promises to be a fun-filled day in February as the estate gives guests the opportunity to get in on all the harvest and winemaking action.

The feast of entertainment will include a traditional harvest tractor ride, followed by a grape picking experience. Visitors will also get the opportunity to get gritty with a little stomping, followed by a wine tasting and a cellar tour.

Not sure what to do with the children? Bring them along, there will be plenty of activities for them including a red and white grape juice ‘tasting’, colouring-in activities, a jungle gym and much more.

To end off the day of family-filled harvest festival fun, Grande Provence will set up one of its famous harvest tables heavily laden with delicious fare in the vineyards to ensure everyone is well fed after all the festivities.
