Contiki has added nine brand new trips to its portfolio, including some to destinations that the brand has never visited before.
The youth travel brand’s latest product launch includes new trips to the USA, Canada, Jeju Island, Vietnam, Rwanda and Cape Town among others.
The North American Glaciers and National Parks
This trip shows travellers the incredible Banff & Jasper National Parks in Canada and Glacier National Park in the USA in just 12 days. It is packed with unique experiences including a Red Jammer bus ride, playing ice hockey with professionals, and even learning from Indigenous peoples about their culture and traditions. This type of trip has been growing in popularity among young travellers in the USA who want to see the natural beauty in their own backyard.
“The North American Glaciers & National Parks trip is nothing short of a jaw-dropping exploration of the USA and Canada’s Rockies. It’s packed with incredible views and experiences that are truly authentic and unique. We know that our travellers will love this one,” says Carlen Oliveira, North America Trip Manager for Contiki.
Asia
Vietnam’s ever-growing appeal has already made it a popular destination for Contiki travellers. After the 10-day Vietnam Highlights trip and the 27-day Ultimate South East Asia trip, the brand has now introduced a great-value 5-day trip that visits the world-famous Ha Giang Loop in Northern Vietnam. Travellers will have the chance to learn about traditional H’mong art & crafts and trail along the Nho Que river on a boat with local guides – all while witnessing magnificent views of terrace fields.
After the massive success of the first few departures of the recently launched South Korean Soul trip (with hundreds of travellers already booked on to travel), Contiki has launched a brand new version, which now includes 4 days in Jeju Island – popular for its Haenyeo (fisherwomen) culture, and is a hotspot for K-drama lovers too. It is one of the very first youth travel brands to offer a product that visits this incredible island.
Contiki has also dropped two new trips that now give travellers the chance to go from Delhi to Kathmandu by coach and internal flights, followed by a trek with varying difficulty levels to choose from.
Africa
As for Africa, there’s the Gorilla Trek in Rwanda which is perfect for travellers who are interested in witnessing gorillas in their natural habitat – without worrying about getting the right permit, or arranging local guides. The brand has also launched a Cape Town Explorer trip, plus two new products that now visit Spain, Portugal and Morocco in a single trip.
“Travellers won’t have to worry about obtaining permits and navigating Rwanda to spot gorillas now. Our new trip explores Rwandan wilderness with local experts with their accommodation, permits and stays all sorted for them;” says Kyle Junkuhn, Africa Operations Director at Contiki
