Vergenoegd Löw’s much-loved Jazz Under the Stars event is back, promising an unforgettable evening of music, fine food, and exquisite wine – this time in celebration of the annual wine grape harvest.
Join the historic Stellenbosch estate on Friday, 28 March, for a night where the golden glow of dusk in the Cape winelands meets the rich, soulful sounds of Moonshine, a jazz ensemble led by acclaimed saxophonist Dan Shout. With a motto of “jazz with a kick”, their performance will transport you through the decades with classics from legends such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles.
Chef Drikus Brink and his team at Geuwels and Clara’s Barn – the estate’s two top restaurants – will serve up a delectable, Cape heritage-inspired harvest menu, crafted from the freshest seasonal ingredients.
Meanwhile, enjoy award-winning wines by the estate’s young winemaker, Vusi Dalicuba, available at special event prices.
