Get ready to be dazzled as the 31st annual stage production of Shall We Dance takes centre stage from 12–14 September 2025 at the iconic Durban opera theatre, The Playhouse Company.
Durban’s amateur dance world collides in this dazzling, glitzy dance extravaganza with dance schools and studios from Durban and surrounds entertaining audiences for five jampacked colourful shows. Included in the line ups are professional Latin couple, Darren Hammond and Marina Steshenko. Hammond is no stranger to the Durban stage, having made various guest artist appearances over the years.
This year the show will include everything from Ballroom, Latin, Indian, Modern, Ballet with a few special numbers by eMCee, Lisa Bobbert and her team from the International School of Performing Arts. Celebrating its 50th milestone, Chicago The Musical – Shall We Dance will play homage to this world class Browadway show.
