The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz festival will once again delight enthusiasts this September as the Sandton Convention Centre comes alive with the sound of smooth local and international sounds.
The 22nd Joy of Jazz festival will feature over 30 performances over three days on four stages, with top performers in the world of jazz.

This year a key event at the jam-packed festival is a big band performance on Thursday 26 September, when two bands will take to the Dinaledi Stage – the 15-piece Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra featuring the renowned trumpeter, Wynton Marsalis, and the 17-piece ZAR Jazz Orchestra led by trumpeter Marcus Wyatt.
Shaun Bird, GM of Sandton Convention Centre, says the venue is pleased to be welcoming the festival for the fourth consecutive year. “It’s a highly acclaimed event and an absolute highlight on our annual calendar when we pull out all the stops to make sure it delivers every note perfectly.”
