DStv Delicious Festival

The DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival will be held at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on 21 and 22 September.

Making this year’s headline performances are Corinne Bailey Rae and Raphael Saadiq. Joining them on stage will be Ralf Gum, Tiwa Savage and many others. Tickets on sale from R550.

Spring has sprung, so head out to Franschhoek for the Franschhoek Uncorked Festival happening 14 and 15 September.

Look out for new releases ranging from MCCs, white wines, rosés and more. Tickets bought in advance at Webtickets cost R180 each – affording you a weekend pass to visit all participating farms for events and tastings.

On the day of the event, and on participating wine farms, tickets will be charged at R200.

FNB Art Joburg

FNB Art Joburg, also known as the Joburg Art Fair, takes place from 13 to 15 September at the Sandton Convention Centre.

New to the fair is the Gallery Lab, a space where new galleries from across Africa and the world will share conversations. FNB Art Joburg will also be paying tribute to the legendary Hugh Masekela.

Photography exhibition

The Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg will on 29 and 30 September host the exhibition On Common Ground: The Life’s Work of David Goldblatt and Peter Magubane. Paul Weinberg is the curator. Entry fees are from R40.
