22 June | Limpopo
While this event is billed as a classic 42.195km marathon and a half marathon, the location makes it anything but a run-of-the-mill race.
Set in the Limpopo Province’s Entabeni Safari Conservancy, the route lets runners (just about) rub shoulders with the famous Big Five, as well as giraffes, hippopotami, crocodiles, and many more.
29 July | Knysna
This energy-burning part of the famous Oyster Festival sees a full (42km) and half (21km) marathon running through the beautiful Knysna forest. While the start is always chilly, once the event gets going, it is a run you will want to experience again.

Located in the fresh air of Malonjeni Guest Farm, it covers everything from camping to agriculture, automotive, home décor and much more.
