Destination Dressing: Deauville

Date:

Deauville is a French seaside resort oozing inspiration for fashion choices and design. In fact, Coco Chanel opened her second boutique here in 1913 after being inspired by the clothing worn by local fishermen and sailors.

Picking out destination-inspired outfits is usually at the top of the list of priorities for style-conscious travellers. Be it packing the slops tucked at the back of your closet for trips to Durban, or whipping out every striped garmet you possess as you prepare  for your first gondola ride through Venice.

Fashionistas can’t help but be inspired by their favourite locations when making style choices.
